Honorable Mention:

I just wanted to share a quick story of kindness, since many talk about the cruelness in the world and in particular the music business.  I had been in the secular music business for a long while and had retired.  In 2016, I finally acknowledged that I was being called back to my first love music, and being called fully to music ministry.  In,  2017, I debuted my first Christian album, entitled, As Long As You Breathe.  In 2018, I received a private message from a well known artist and writer, whom I knew very little about at the time, nor did I realize his impact and greatness in the world!  The gentleman wrote, your new release is so good and I love the album and your voice.  Also, he went on to say, my son is a pilot and I noticed that you had graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, so cool!  He was heading to my hometown of Spartanburg, SC for a private birthday event for Paul Pitts' wife, and had hoped we could meet and talk about music; unfortunately, I had other plans.  Today, I really regret not going.   Fast forward to May of 2020, we stayed in touch, he was excited to hear my upcoming project with Les Butler.  Also, he wanted to hear my new songs and suggested a co-write; what a mentor that would have been!  He commented about Covid and my quarantined hair of a post I had shared on FB.  Guys, what an honor!  I didn't realize in 2018 that he had penned one of my favorite songs, Four Days Late!  This man was  kind,  and a gracious encourager to a newbie to the SoGo family!  I'll never forget that blessing.  May you Rest In Peace, Aaron Wilburn.
